Thank you so very much for all your efforts in helping me settle my health care wishes. I feel like my mind is at ease because my family knows EXACTLY what my wishes are and there will be no problems with them making choices on my behalf.
For a long time, I was concerned with what might happen if I was ever unable to "voice" my wishes to doctors and/ or nurses. As an only child, I had to make many decisions for my mom when she was suffering with Alzheimer's Disease. I always felt unsure if I was doing what my mom would want. Even after her death, I wondered if I should have done something else. The guilt was there for a long time.
Because of your patience, understanding and expertise, My daughters and my husband will not have these same feelings. Everything is down on paper. They will always know what I would do if I could speak. There will be no guilt because I will be making the decisions, not them. I can now rest, relax, and enjoy my grandchildren without worrying about what might happen. For this alone, I cannot thank you enough.
People are never too young nor too old to take care of a Health Care Proxy. We never know what tomorrow may bring. It is wonderful that you are making it easier for people to take this burden off their minds. Again, for me and my family this is no longer an issue.

I recently used the services of New York Legal Nurse Consultants Inc. The representative of the company Fern Wasserman I found to be extremely knowledgeable, professional, competent, and courteous. She facilitated the discussion between myself and my family including the members that I had identified as my health care agent and alternative agent. She directed me to the appropriate resources to prepare the living will and a health care proxy.
As you can imagine the preparation of these documents can be an emotionally trying experience. Ms Wasserman made the experience easy and comfortable.
I highly recommend this service for anyone who has not yet completed a health care proxy or has not spoken with the people who will be making health care decisions for them in the event that they are not in a position to make those medical decisions for themselves.
