Fern Wasserman RN, MSN, ANP, BC APRN, CLNC Fern Wasserman is the President and founder of New York Legal Nurse Consultants, Inc. She is a Nurse Practitioner and Board Certified in Adult Health. Ms. Wasserman graduated from Ulster County Community College with an Associates of Science in Nursing in 1995 and was awarded a Masters of Science in Nursing at Columbia University in 2001. Ms. Wasserman has been working with attorneys for the past four years on all types of medically related cases. Her most recent work has focused on Advance Directives as an Advance Care Planning Facilitator. This is a natural progression from her work in critical care, organ donation and hospice. She continues to be clinically active and serves on the ethics committee. Fern is a state liaison for New York on National Health Care Decisions Day and an active proponent of MOLST as a member of the MOLST statewide implementation team, (Medical Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment). Wasserman is a Certified Advance Care Planning Facilitator as well as a MOLST and Community Conversations trainer.
